One Signature for Each of the Lives Lost in Service to our Nation

The Declaration of Remembrance is a national call for unity, inviting Americans to honor the nearly 1.4 million men and women who gave their lives in service as we approach our 250th anniversary. It also drives national awareness for H.R. 1363 and fuels the donations and sponsorships that sustain our full mission—Establish, Present, Educate, and Comfort—while expanding the campaign’s reach and breadth across the country.
The Declaration of Remembrance is presented by Honor and Remember, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 41-2277283) dedicated to ensuring every fallen service member is remembered by name and to the permanent establishment of a National Symbol of Remembrance.
The Declaration was conceived and authored by Honor and Remember’s Chief Strategy Officer, Chris Pollitzer, and represents the culmination of a broad, collaborative effort across the organization and its partners. This work was intentionally developed to align with America250 and Freedom 250—honoring the legacy of those who secured the nation’s founding and every generation that has defended it since.
H.R. 1363 is bipartisan legislation that would designate the Honor and Remember Flag as a permanent national symbol to honor fallen service members. Learn more here (this link takes you to congress.gov)
